Software to create a Web Based 3D Configurator

I need to create Web Based 3D Configurators to showcase 3D models using different parts, materials and lighting configurations.
Here is a simple example of the output which the user will see: [login to view URL]
I am not 100% sure of what software or scripting must be used but I have done some research and it seems Webgl with [login to view URL] is the best way to go.
What I need is a way to add all the info, models, materials, parts, lighting to the configurator and upload it onto a server so that the end user can interact with it in a web browser.
The backend needs to be as simple and user friendly as possible.
I don't mind chatting to you to iron out details before we proceed.
User Features:
1. Mix and match different 3D parts, models, materials, lighting
2. Take Snapshot/Screenshot of chosen configuration.
All 3D elements will be provided.
