I am located in Stark County- is that a problem? Hello my name is Hannah Sues, isn't there a way I can file for an appeal on his behalf? The reason I say this ... he and the three other guys charged with this F2 assault all had their own public defenders and then, magically, the same day, all four of them got appointed lawyers, all of them are Supreme Court lawyers. Isn't that weird?
I paid for a lawyer, she went into the stark county jail and then gave me my money back, and said my friend wanted to keep the lawyer that had been appointed to him- even though he told me he never said that whatsoever.
I believe it was all a set up. The guy who they "allegedly fought" doesn't want to press charges, and admitted that stark county is making him?
I feel he was wrongfully convicted because of this appointed Supreme Court lawyer.
Yes- he is indigent, but I was paying for the lawyer, and they wrongfully denied him his own lawyer, And made him keep the Supreme Court lawyer anyways.
That's illegal, right? It's almost like the lawyer I paid for was told to stand down and to walk away or something?
He never answers my friends' calls when he tries to call him from the jail, and didn't even really explain anything, and convinced him to change his plea to guilty. All four of them changed their pleas to guilty with the Supreme Court lawyers they were given.
It's been almost 30 days since he was convicted on the one case, don't we only have 30 days to file an appeal?
