We've got a static site (with around 400,000 .html files) and we would like to run a command daily to rsync them to Amazon s3. Around 40,000 .html files (or more) are updated daily) so we would like them to be updated on amazon s3. We would also like for the files to be gizzed on Amazon s3.
If you can help us with that, please bid on this project.

Hello,
I am a software developer with over 12 years experience. I have 4 years expertise working with different AWS tools.
I suggest the following solution:
1. A bash script can be scripted which calculates the modified files
2. Create the zip file and using aws-cli upload to S3
3. The server that runs the static site can have a cron job that runs the bash script daily at a particular time.
Kindly contact to discuss further.
Regards,
Anu

I have very good working with experience with aws services, We can achieve this with s3cmd and Cron job for linux systems and using powershell and AWS CLI for windows machine with Task Scheduler.
I will help you write a python script which will run in parallel and will complete rsync. I can also write failure scenarios where if sync fails, it will not touch the files which are already in sync there by reducing your overall time to sync files.
