Greetings of Peace! I am Janine and I am writing this proposal after I created a sample script according to the details you provided. As you can see on my profile, I am new here and I can't blame you if you're doubting my credibility. But I was happy finding this post because this kind of task is what I am really looking for. And so I just dive in and do the work. The current script I have behaves as follows: -Upon executing the script will bring the user to a menu consist of four (4) items. 01-Remove Empty Files 02-Transfer Files 03-Compress Files 04-Navigate -Entering 1, will bring the user to the removal of empty files/directories available in the current directory (where the script is deployed) -Entering 2, will bring the user to the transferring of files menu where the user will be ask to list the file/s he/she wish to be transferred to another directory that he/she will specify. -Entering 3, will bring the user to the compressing of files menu where the user will be ask to list the file/s he/she wish to be compressed (right now, defaulted to tar) -Entering 4, will bring the user to the navigation option where he/she will be ask to specify the target directory which when found to be valid will be the new current directory. Lastly, to exit, user will be ask to enter 99. For the 'bonus' part, upon capturing SIGINT, the script will automatically exit after flashing the message "Bye! 'username'". Hope to hear from you soon.
