Find & Build an Unusual Digital Product Business I am looking for a freelancer, entrepreneur, developer, researcher, or small team who can help me discover and potentially build a small online business with strong cash-flow potential. I am intentionally not giving you a specific business idea. Instead, I want you to bring me ideas based on problems, industries, products, or opportunities you have discovered through your own experience. I am looking for something that can start small, generate revenue relatively quickly, and potentially grow into a digital asset that can operate with a high level of automation. What I am looking for I am interested in products such as: * Specialized digital products * Niche tools or calculators * Generators * Databases or information products * Industry-specific resources * Templates or document systems * Research products * Automated digital products * Small websites/tools solving one painful problem * Products serving overlooked industries or professions * Products that turn a complicated process into something simple * Other unusual online businesses you believe have real potential The industry is completely open. It can be B2B or B2C, and it does not have to be related to technology. I am particularly interested in boring, overlooked problems where customers already spend money, time, or manpower trying to solve the problem. What I do NOT want Please do not send generic proposals for: * SaaS * AI chatbots * AI agents * AI automation agencies * Digital marketing agencies * Generic websites * Generic mobile apps * Dropshipping * Affiliate sites * Lead-generation agencies * Freelance services * Generic “AI business ideas” AI can be part of the solution, but “we will use AI” is not a business model. I don’t want to create another service business where I personally have to work for every customer. The goal is to create something that can be sold repeatedly with low marginal cost and eventually delivered automatically. What I want from you I want you to propose 1–3 opportunities that you genuinely believe are worth investigating. For each opportunity, explain: 1. The problem What problem exists and who experiences it? 2. The customer Who would actually pay for a solution? 3. Current solution How do people solve this problem today? 4. Your product idea What exactly would we sell? 5. Why people would pay What makes this problem valuable enough to spend money on? 6. Evidence Why do you believe this opportunity is real? If you have worked in the industry, built something similar, or know people who pay for this problem, explain it. 7. Competition Who already provides something similar and what could we do differently? 8. Customer acquisition How could we realistically get the first 10–100 customers? For example: Google, marketplaces, Reddit, industry communities, partnerships, advertising, social media, directories, etc. 9. Pricing What do you think we could charge and why? 10. MVP What is the smallest version we could build and launch to test whether people will pay? 11. Development How much would you charge to build the first version and how long would it take? 12. Automation How much of the business could eventually be automated — payment, delivery, generation, onboarding, customer communication, etc.? I value real experience I am much more interested in real observations than generic internet business ideas. For example, if you previously worked with construction companies and discovered that they all struggle with a specific document/process, tell me. If you built an internal tool for a client and think it could become a standalone product, tell me. If you know a niche industry where companies are paying thousands for an inefficient process that could be simplified into a €50–€500 digital product, tell me. If you have an idea you wanted to build yourself but never had the opportunity, I want to hear about it. You do not need to have already built the exact product. Budget I don’t want to decide the budget before understanding the opportunity. Please provide realistic estimates for: * Research/validation * MVP development * Additional development if required * Monthly/ongoing costs * Any APIs, software, hosting, or third-party costs I prefer to start with a small MVP, validate demand, and only then invest more. What makes a strong proposal A strong proposal will have: * A specific problem * A clearly defined customer * Evidence of demand * A simple product * A realistic way to find customers * Good margins * Low ongoing operational work * Potential for automation * A reasonable MVP cost * Potential to expand after the initial product works It does not need to be the next billion-dollar startup. I would rather build a relatively boring product that can realistically make €2,000–€10,000+ per month than chase a fashionable idea that requires millions in funding. Important Please don’t start your proposal with a generic introduction about how many years you have been developing websites. Start with your best business opportunity. I am hiring someone who can potentially bring me a business opportunity and then help me build it, not simply someone who can write code. If your idea is genuinely interesting, I am open to discussing the project, validating it together, and potentially continuing with you for the build and future development.

Hi, would you be open to starting with one overlooked B2B problem and validating whether customers will actually pay before we build anything? My approach would be to research 1 to 3 niche opportunities, check existing competitors and customer demand, then define a small MVP with clear pricing, acquisition channels, costs, and automation potential. If we find a strong opportunity, I can stay involved through validation and development, with the goal of creating a repeatable digital product rather than another service business.

Identifying a niche digital product opportunity is challenging yet crucial for establishing a profitable online business. The central problem here is the lack of innovative ideas tailored to address overlooked issues in various industries, leading to missed revenue potentials. The goal is to build a product that generates substantial cash flow with minimal ongoing effort, effectively transforming mundane problems into valuable solutions. A quick expert diagnosis reveals that many industries face specific needs that remain unmet, particularly in sectors where customers invest heavily in inefficient processes. It’s essential to validate these issues through solid research and leverage insights to develop unique products. To streamline the process, we would start by identifying 1–3 viable opportunities based on real pain points. The approach will involve: 1. Conducting thorough market research to identify overlooked problems and potential customer bases. 2. Developing clear product concepts that address these pain points, along with realistic pricing models and marketing strategies. 3. Creating a minimum viable product (MVP) to test market demand efficiently. One implementation question could be: What specific industries or areas of expertise are you most interested in exploring for potential products? If this resonates with your vision, we can discuss the next steps in developing your ideas further.

Hello!, This is James from Hollywood... Your project is not just about finding an idea, it’s about finding a niche digital product with a real gap, then turning it into something people will pay for. That’s where I can help. I’d approach this in 3 practical phases: 1. Market scan and validation: I’ll research demand, competitor gaps, and buyer intent so we focus on ideas with real potential. 2. Product shaping: we narrow it to a unique, sellable digital product with clear positioning and audience. 3. Build and launch prep: I can help turn it into an MVP, landing page, content, and first growth loop so it’s not just an idea in a doc. I’m very detail-focused, so I’ll pay attention to the stuff many freelancers miss: who the buyer is, why they buy, what makes the offer different, and how to ship fast without overbuilding. A few relevant builds I’ve worked on: - SaaS dashboard for service teams - AI content workflow tool for creators - Niche subscription platform for educators - Internal lead ops tool for a small agency Quick questions: 1. Are you already leaning toward a niche, or should I discover and rank the best opportunities from scratch? 2. Do you want just the concept and validation, or the full path through MVP build and launch? 3. What matters most here: speed, originality, or revenue potential? If you want someone who can think like both an entrepreneur and a builder, I’d be glad to talk.

Hi, I understand the project, and rather than suggesting another generic SaaS or AI product, I’d start by investigating a narrow B2B process where businesses already spend time and money on repetitive documentation, calculations, compliance, or operational decisions. One opportunity I’d investigate is a specialized document and calculation product for a specific trade or professional niche, where users can enter a few inputs and automatically generate the required reports, forms, checklists, estimates, or client-ready documents. The key would be validating the exact niche first through competitor research, customer interviews, search demand, existing pricing, communities, and evidence that people are already paying for inefficient alternatives. 1. Would you prefer that we independently research 3 opportunities first and present the evidence, or collaborate closely during the discovery phase? 2. Are you open to regulated or traditionally “boring” industries such as construction, compliance, logistics, property, or professional services? 3. Would you prefer a product with a one-time purchase model, recurring subscription, or whichever model the vali

Best opportunity: an information product, tender alerts for one trade, starting with suppliers of equipment and IT to public hospitals. 1) Problem: public tenders sit across TED and national portals as long multilingual notices, so small suppliers miss them or see them late. 2) Customer: distributors with 5 to 50 staff; the owner pays. 3) Today: someone checks portals by hand or pays for an all-industry alert service. 4) Product: a daily digest and searchable archive: buyer, deadline, value, required certificates, and who won past awards at what price. 5) Why pay: one won contract pays for years of it. 6) Evidence: I am that customer. I sell hospital IT and built this for my own bidding in China: 20 collectors over 32 procurement portals, every 3 hours, public feed and daily push. 7) Competition: broad aggregators. We go narrow: one trade, summarised, with award prices. 8) First customers: award notices name the winners, so the prospect list is public. Email each one what they missed last month. 9) Pricing: EUR 49 a month per company. 10) MVP: TED plus one country, one trade, email digest, plain archive, payment link. 11) Development: the bid covers that MVP, in 14 days. 12) Automation: collection, summaries, digest, billing and onboarding run unattended; costs stay under EUR 100 a month. Two more are ready: a MiCA threshold tracker for small token issuers and an Excel-to-branded-deck generator. Do you already have a company that can invoice EU businesses?
