We have different project in Europe, and we will need a freelance to help our team. Here are the tasks requested: Participating and supervising in geotechnical site investigations including multi-disciplinary methods such as roto-sonic drilling, wire-line coring, CPTs, sea bed CPTs and vibro-coring etc Logging and description of cores and samples to the appropriate standards i.e. BS 5930/EN ISO 14688/CIRIA C574. Assistance and supervising within the offshore laboratory. Preparation and review of laboratory test schedules, control and dispatch of samples. Preparation and checking of contract technical output i.e. borehole logs and test results. Input, maintenance and up keep of records within the geo-database system. Preparation and submission of factual reports to the client and assistance in the preparation and submission of interpretative reports and models. You will ensure that abovementioned tasks are performed in accordance with best practice standards and the appropriate regulations and norms.

As experienced geotechnical engineer, i can provide technical support and review the above listed work. However my proposal is based on the assumption that the work requires about 20-25 hours. Relevant Skills and Experience Offshore investigation; CPT processing and assessment (including downhole CPT used offshore); Offshore sampling and preparation of LTAF, Preparation of Field, Factual and Interpretative report etc. Proposed Milestones €50 EUR - Review of the Site Invest. and samp. plan based on project requirement and anticipated soil profile €100 EUR - Review of borehole logs based on field laboratory test result and sample photographs €100 EUR - Review of the offshore laboratory testing procedure and results per relavant standard €50 EUR - Revied and recommend the onshore test plan per project requirement and available sample €100 EUR - Review of the Factual Report €155 EUR - Review of the interpretative report (with no liability for the engineering design if any) Additional Services Offered €100 EUR - Review of selected parameter for analysis of Pile foundation , Mudmat BC or LPA for Jack-up €200 EUR - Engineering design for offshore pile foundation I require total number and depth of boreholes to estimate the time required for the task.
