I have a computer aided simulation project to be done using rhino-grasshopper simulation software which is used in architecture projects. The project description is as given below
Extruding clay pipe by putting the clay blocks into the extruder .
(Here, I have to mention that the drying time is quite important, by this I mean, in order to avoid bubbles appear when extruding, which will result in cracking.
That's why we need to throw the clay blocks already before using in order to get non-bubbles clay.)
And then, aim to avoid the extruded pipe collapsing too much when it is still wet,
we need to wait the clay dry for almost 3 or 4 hours before extruding.
Next step, we use the extruded pipe to make components and wait them dry for half or 1 hour, it depends on the environment.
This is for making sure that they won't collapse too much when they were still a bit wet jointed together layer by layer.
[login to view URL] clay pipes randomly in a box, but this is uncontrolled, therefore we found a way to control it, that's why we made components .
[login to view URL], when they were between dry and wet, we cut the blocks by robotic arm, and found the interesting pattern after cutting , that's what we are fancy.
