Microsoft Intune, Defender, projects and administration

Talio is a company that provides IT services to clients in various environments, including Microsoft 365. We are looking for a technician to optimize and exploit the potential of Intune and Endpoint Defender in Windows Desktop and Server environments. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the administration and configuration of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Defender services in Windows Desktop and Server environments. Their main goal is to review and evaluate the configuration and performance of customer tenants to ensure they are optimized and adequately protected, and to train Talio's technicians in the implementation, administration, and optimization of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender Endpoint.

Responsibilities:

Conduct reviews and audits of customer tenants to assess the configuration of Intune and Endpoint Defender.

Identify and resolve technical issues related to policy configuration, profiles, applications, and endpoint protection.

Train Talio technicians in the correction of observed issues, as well as in good practices in configuration and optimization of Intune and Endpoint Defender.

Document findings, recommendations, and implemented solutions.

Optionally, we would value extending the collaboration for the optimization of Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Requirements:

Experience and technical knowledge:

Prior experience working with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Defender in Windows Desktop and Server environments.

Solid understanding of the administration and configuration of policies, profiles, and applications in Intune.

Familiarity with endpoint protection and threat management using Endpoint Defender.

Knowledge of information security and good data protection practices.

Technical skills:

Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues related to Intune and Endpoint Defender.

Solid knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server, including its configuration and administration.

Experience in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell would be an advantage.

Communication and collaboration skills:

Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Aptitude for documenting findings, recommendations, and implemented solutions clearly and concisely.

Certifications:

Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, would be a plus.
