Before I was working on an app where I had to read QR Code from still image(Geometric shape).This code was working fine for some QR Code but some time it is not working with still image and return blank array. I have searched a lot and then see the Apple forum they have described some other process to accomplish this. Accordingly, finally I got the problem was the QR code. It seems that the logo was interfering with the CIDetector. I replaced my QR Code with their code, and it worked. However, let's come to the point, does your geometry will have texture coordinates? You can verify this in the SceneKit editor. In short, then we need to create a UV Mapping for each face of the geometric solid. For a regular polyhedra, we had multiple options: Select the whole body (and hence all of the faces), do a single UV Mapping of it, and have one image which was stretched over all of the faces. There are online tutorials for how to do this. For each face, select it, do a UV Mapping (I typically chose Projection Normal to do it), and then each face will get the same mapping, no matter how many images you put into the materials array in my code. A combination of the above, so that multiple faces could share the same mapping and then be assigned the same image automatically. To Upload thumbnail image/text on web/Facebook/vimeo could be accomplish via api call. For iOS and Android, WebClient has a method called UploadData that fits like a glove
