txtSHOP, a txt based iOS and Android APP

App txtSHOP is a regular e-commerce app with a few peculiar functions.

Like regular e-commerce apps it needs to manage:

• Products (name, description, category, seller, available quantity)

• Searches (by product name, by category, by seller)

• Baskets

• Orders

• Users (name, last name, cell phone, mail)

• Roles (at least: standard-buyer, seller, admin, SHOPadmin)

Unlike other e-commerce apps:

• It’s text based only (no products pictures)

• A checkout button exists but no checkout process is needed as the only payment method will be cash, at reception of the goods

• A scheduler closes the shop at a given day-time (selected by the SHOPadmin or admin)

• The SHOPadmin or admin only can open the shop back

• When the shop is closed no orders are accepted. At closure all incoming (checked out) orders become read only

• No shipment management is needed

• The admin is able to ban users

Furthermore, the app needs a sellers management mechanism, as the seller will not be unique. Thus every seller will have:

• His virtual shelf with his own products

• The ability to add/edit products (name, description, category, available quantity)

• His received orders history view, with all the orders since last closure (grouped by product, or by buyer)

• His received orders history view, with all the orders ever (grouped by product, or by buyer)

The seller will register to the app as usual, an administrator will assign the seller role of seller.

No social login is required, only user/pass.

An entity will exist called SHOP, and it’s managed by a SHOPadmin. The SHOPadmin has full editing power over every aspect of the users who joined the SHOP (orders, products, ban users from the SHOP…). The SHOP has a title, a description, a SHOP physical address, a SHOP contact email and phone number.

Every user (buyer or seller) may join one or more SHOP. Only once he joins, he’ll be able to buy from/sell to (depending on his role) the others who joined the SHOP.

The app will be developed for iOS and Android, in English and translated into local language by the requester, in an easy and straight forward way (eg. translation table to be uploaded).

The app will be developed in two stages:

• Features development (no graphic elements will be present at this stage, draft texts will be used)

• GUI development (the developer will receive the final design elements in the required format and mount them on the app in accordance to the received screenshots).
