Looking For Unity Developer for Basic Game Development Project
We are looking for skilled Unity Developer to build basic 2D mobile game for iOS and Android platforms. Game will be similar like:
1. Toon Blast: [login to view URL]
2. Wooly Blast: [login to view URL]
The gameplay will be different & Developer will need to sign NDA.
Responsibilities:
- Implement game functionality as per communicated design & provided assets
- Translate design specification into functional game
- Communicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media assets (Trello, Phone, Emails, Jira, etc)
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatisation.
Skills:
- Proven Mobile Game Portfolio
- Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management
- Familiarity with level design and planning
- Experience with game physics and particle systems
- Experience with mobile and console game development
- Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware
- Experience with 3D is a plus
- Prior experience with a well-known mobile title or AAA titles are a significant asset
- Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving game standards and development technologies
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools (Git, Visual Studio TFS)
- Official Unity Certification will be added advantage
- Communication will be done via official platform as well as Skype & Emails whenever required.
Note:
- All the assets needed for game will be provided by us.
- Payment will be made only via official payment gateway no third party methods like PayPal, Skrill, Payoneer, Bitcoin like Crypto-currencies, etc. will be used. We are looking for long term business relationship and other projects are lined up. We hope to see you soon.

I have been working as a Tech Lead in different gaming projects, using Unity among other technologies, using methodologies as Scrum and xp. I have been also teaching in UTN FRSF University, in data structures professorship (including algorithms, optimization, AI, etc).
In the projects I lead (mostly multiplayer games), we implemented a layered architecture that allowed us to perform what we called "visual tests", in which we reproduced use cases and issues, mocking messages from servers in the sequence that originated the issue. We also added, in the last project I was involved, a pseudo-communication layer that allowed us to mock also the inputs from users, combined with messages from servers, in the sequence that originated the issues, and that let us reroduce situations that would be extremely difficult to reproduce otherways.
I would like to contribute with this experience to a new gaming project like this one.
