Hi, I need to do a MySQL Join from two tables to one new table. (Table 1 and 2 have a lot of columns but I only need the Table 3 columns) Table 1: videos Column 1: idvideo Column 2: identificador_remoto Table 2: video_relaciones Column 1: idvideo Column 2: iditem Table 3 (new for join): Column 1: iditem Column 2: identificador_remoto Column 3 (optional, not necessary): idvideo I will send the database to do the join and I need also the SQL “command” to do the join. Hello! You need to define a more-complete set of rules that define how the join has to happen. For example, teh fact that those are originally kept in seperate tables suggest that there's 'one to many' relationship between 'videoid' and 'remote-idenfiticator' on one hand and 'videoid and iteid on the other, with absolutely no baring between the two, meaning nothing defines which itemid corersponds to which remote identificatior(and the other way around is the same) thus nothing defines how they should be mingled together in pairs. Every itemid will be mingled with all remote identificators appearing for any given videoid, or any remore identificatior will be mingled with each and every itemid appearing for any given videod, or something completely different? In any event that's not a simple join between the tables, which would always spit a wrong pairs out anyway. So please, clarify the requirements, so a proper offers could be put forward. Hi, As i see, If you want videos and video_relaciones tables to be one table (Table 3), you just need query : INSERT INTO ... SELECT ... FROM ... INNER JOIN ... BUT, FIRST.... You need to check and make sure there is only one item on video_relaciones for each videos row.
