We have a site which has largely been developed but prior to continuation requires implementing a solid UI design. If you cannot do .NET programming YOU ARE STILL WELCOME TO SUBMIT for earlier phases.
Pre-selection:
Presentation of a folio containing past graphic design works and references will be required in order to assess you for entry into Phase 1
Phase 1:
You will be required to initially produce 10 sets of distinctly different high resolution concept graphics (representations of page layout) for assessment.
Phase 2: If you are successful beyond this point you may be requested to produce up to 3 sets of pages (html or asp.net ), graphics and style sheets to allow us to see if we wish to proceed to the final stage of development. prior to further refining of the corporate brand and marketing approach.
Phase 3: Implementing the selected style and any modifications requested across the entire ASP.NET website (apprx 25-30 pages). This will involve changes largely to ASP.NET code, but may also involve c# code changes depending on the final selected design. Fixing defects that are raised against modifications will also be required prior to acceptance of the deliverable.
Project Details:
- The desired site will be an innovative global dating site with a cutting edge look and feel, perhaps including "Web 2.0" styling in some (no more than 60% of total) concepts. The remaining concepts are left open to your creative interpretation.
- The site enables users to
- Send and receive mail
- Add users to hotlists, private lists etc
- View their own above lists and mail
- View user profiles and photos
- Manage their profiles and account subscriptions
- Search for other users based on selection criteria
- Use a left hand navigation bar to navigate through these sections
- See who is viewing them or messaging them in a real time iframe located in either the top center of the page (horizontally) or right hand vertical side of the page. Preference goes to those that can come up with an innovative look and feel for this.
- Sites that may be drawn from for inspiration could include [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] , [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL]
- The site is aiming to target the FEMALE audience, so submissions from female designers would be considered favourably
- The site should use primarily light schemes, perhaps with pastel and/or bright colours. Contrasting concepts can be included in addition to these, but must consider the female audience. with no heavy black or grey backgrounds. Submissions that contain large amounts of dark colours may be rejected and or require rework prior to acceptance
- The site should have a "clean" look and feel, avoiding being overly cluttered
- Inclusion of stock photos for "Main" pages or in headings is acceptable if copyright can be provided (see below)
- Styling of Buttons (images) and links should be considered important in the design as they are expected to contribute substantially to the look and feel.
Quoting/Tendering:
Please quote for each phase separately in your answer, and only enter phase one in your initial bid. Being accepted into phase 1 DOES NOT mean you will be selected for subsequent phases. If you cannot do .NET programming YOU ARE STILL WELCOME TO SUBMIT. Please provide links or means of displaying your past works/folios in graphic and/or web design. Payment will be provided after an acceptable submission (and any rework required to become acceptable) is received at the end of each phase.
Please note: multiple tenders may be accepted into phase 1 depending on cost.

At any point in the project, the submitter (you or your company) must agree relinquish the copyright of any and all contents, pages, graphics, concepts, designs, code, binaries, intellectual property or any other matter that is contained as part of any and all submissions and communications sent to the project owner (the poster of this project).
