Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Network Field Dispatch Engineers to join our team on an hourly-based, on-demand basis. As a Network Field Dispatch Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support and expertise for various networking tasks, including unmounting and mounting network equipment, router and switch configurations, IP address assignments, and troubleshooting network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Demand Support: Respond promptly to dispatch requests and perform tasks based on client needs, including unmounting and mounting network equipment, configuring routers and switches, assigning IP addresses, and troubleshooting network issues.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your networking knowledge and toolkit to efficiently complete assigned tasks while ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.

Router and Switch Configuration: Configure routers and switches according to client specifications, ensuring optimal network performance.

IP Address Assignment: Assign and manage IP addresses to devices and network components, adhering to best practices and client requirements.

Own Transportation: Use your own transportation to reach client locations, ensuring timely and reliable arrival at each site.

Risk Assessment Method Statement: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including conducting risk assessments and method statements for each task to ensure a safe working environment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including task details, time spent, and equipment used.

Client Interaction: Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring a positive client experience.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in networking, including router and switch configurations, IP address assignments, and network troubleshooting.

Proficiency in using a toolkit for network equipment installation and maintenance.

Flexibility and availability to respond to on-demand dispatch requests.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for reaching client locations.
