My main requirements are to find someone to help me build an interactive dashboard that can display a building information model. This is a project that has a 1 year deadline.
The full stack software developer is responsible for creating, maintaining and documenting a from-scratch interactive Remote Communication Dashboard (RCD) which includes front-end, back-end and database systems. This RCD forms the backbone of the VisionBuilder platform which combines all the three core offerings together.
The candidate should be comfortable working independently and will implement the following components in particular:
Databases
A proprietary .ifc BIM datastore written in NoSQL.
An in-memory (Redis) .ifc changelog database for caching BIM components.
An in-memory (Redis) database for caching user / plant locations.
Front-end (including UI/UX elements)
A web-based dashboard which integrates with a 2D map / 3D scene service, capable of showing an interactive BIM.
Real-time indication of user location, polled from a user location database.
Back-end
A hosting server built in Django, Flask or a similar backend technology.
I have a mock up of the dashboard - imagery only at this time. And also a preferred backend architecture, but I'm open to modifications.
