I have ten structural steel trusses, each measuring 32 ft long by 7 ft high. I will arrange shipment of the individual trusses directly to your facility; all you need to do is receive them, sandblast to white metal, and apply an industrial-grade matte grey finish. Scope of work • Full media blast to remove all mill scale, rust, and shop dirt • Application of a primer suited to exterior structural steel (please specify brand in your bid) • Two-coat matte grey topcoat, even coverage with no runs or thin spots • Adequate curing time, followed by protective wrap or other packaging for return freight Acceptance criteria • Surface profile and cleanliness meet SSPC-SP 5 / NACE 1 or equivalent • Dry-film thickness complies with the paint manufacturer’s data sheet • No visible holidays, blistering, or discoloration under normal lighting You’ll need the space and equipment to handle 32-ft members safely, along with appropriate blasting media, spray equipment, and environmental controls.
