.NET Certification Test Author

I am seeking bids for a series of tests to assess C# and VB.net developers. These tests will be in each of the following Microsoft technology .net subject areas: • [login to view URL] • ASP.net • XML • Windows Services • Web Services • Windows Forms Applications • ASP.net Mobile Applications • Web Controls • Console Applications I am looking for an English-speaking developer and technical writer with strong writing and technical skills. The technical writer must be able to code in both C# and VB.net. A native speaker is preferred although not required. Each test must consist of thirty progressively graded questions from easiest to hardest. The goal of the test is to establish the relative strength of a .net coder in each discipline bulleted above. Please bid for a specific subject area. In your bid provide a general sense of how you will research your test content or make a case for why you know the material adequately already. I need to make sure I am confident that the test author can come up with the right questions via research or their own background. It is likely that several test authors will initially be accepted for different test subject matter. A test author who is adept at this is likely to be the source of updates to the test content and additional work in related disciplines in the near future. This is a project with considerable future potential and may be broken out among several test authors. Applicants should submit samples of test questions in the technical subject matter of their own choice. It doesn’t have anything to do with the subject areas above, but should provide a representative sample of question content and strategy. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND BID FOR ONE SUBJECT MATTER TEST ONLY. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). Each test should pertain exclusively to the subject matter of the test, and the question should assume the test taker has solid VB.net and C# coding abilities to start with. 2) A completed test will have the following attributes (also itemized above) Each question must be provided with a VB.net and a C# version. For example, if there is a question that asks about programming a DataGrid in ASP.net then the question should include two separate versions: one with C# and the other with VB.net. Each question should be accompanied with a clearly indicated “correct answer?? that can be graded by automation and require no human being to evaluate. Each question should provide a description of why one answer (or answers) are correct and why the other answers are incorrect. If the test author is familiar with certification training exams, they will have a reasonable model to work from. The hardest questions should be very hard (but not arbitrarily hard). Hard questions should be answerable by people who have used the technology for some time and know its ins and outs. The easiest questions should be of moderate difficulty (not pointlessly easy). In general the feel of the questions should be similar to those used in MCSD certification tests. The progressive grading of difficulty in the test should allow me to reasonably place the developer on a wide spectrum of abilities and to confidently test whether the developer is beginner, intermediate or expert in his/her command of the subject matter. The test author should include any/all references used in the gathering of information for the test content. The questions may not have been used for any other test and may not be repurposed from any other source. They must be completely original. IMPORTANT UPDATE: I would like the questions to be delivered as above and then to have a review/mark up phase and then the questions edited/reworked as necessary. I need to be able to provide a round of feedback. ## Platform The provided document must open in Microsoft Word.
