VERY Fast Interprocess communication between WinForm Program and DLL which is an RTD Server(repost)

I have one .net 3.5 C# application and one VB6 DLL.? The purpose of the application is generate integer data.? The purpose of the DLL is to access the data and make it available to MS Excel 2003 or later.? The DLL is an RTD Server.? My current architecture is as follows:? I have a main program, which i will call Program1.? Program1 does a lot of calculcation and updates an XML file about once every 100ms or so.? I have a VB6 DLL which reads the contents of the XML file and makes the data available to RTD links in MS Excel.? The problem:? What I have now works, however MS Excel slows down significantly when i try to use more than 250 RTD links.? I am almost certain the slowness is due to all of the reading the DLL is doing from the XML file. **Please see the attached files.? I have included my working RTD server VB6 code.? I have also included a working example of an RTD server in c# .net 3.5.? I have also included an example of the XML file which is written by Program1 and read by the DLL. ** **What i need from you:? I need an example of how to get the data from Program1 to the DLL as FAST as possible.? I'd also like the DLL to be redone in c#.? ** What you should know:?
