Drupal plugin

Project summary: We want to build a Drupal plugin for Visitors Voice - a Software as a Service with a REST JSON API. Visitors Voice is a software for analyzing site search statistics that harnes the intelligence of the users of an website or intranet portal and give suggestions how to improve the findability. We want to have short short scrum meetings on a daily basis during development period. These meetings will also serve as an opportunity for us to better understand Drupal. Project details: The goal with the module is to provide developers with a good start for developers to enrich their applications with data from Visitors Voice API. Its important that all functionality is developed with easy to understand, well commented code aligned with the Drupal coding conventions. The same goes for naming conventions. The module should have only one interface - the administrational interface where the adminstrator can set the API key, the User key and the API Endpoint. The API key and User key should be verified with two different API calls and appropiate error message should be returned if these are not valid. There should be a generic way of communicating with the API thats simple to extend with new API calls. In this project its only necessary to have a couple of API calls implemented. There should be proper error handling implemented as well as proper validation of the data. The data returned from the should be stored in a way that it could be accessed in all parts of the Drupal application. We might want to add a the possibility to cache the response as well. The plugin should work with Drupal 7 and preferrably with Drupal 6 and 8 as well. Publishing of the plugin: Finally we dont mind that if you do a good job publish the plugin in order to give you maximum credit for your work.
