I need to build a solution which allows someone to visit a webpage, allow access to their video camera and microphone, and then record a two to three minute video onto the server. The format could be FLV but another format is fine too as long as it is a standard format which could be processed by something like ffmpeg.
I have looked into using something like the Red5 flash server and this would work; another possible server is Wowza.
I need to have customized SWF and want the FLA file provided. If there were customizations done to the Red5 server I would want the Java source files.
In addition I want to have a ffmpeg (or perhaps mencoder) script that can watermark the entire video file with a lightly transparent image that I specify.
I need the video to be using standard FLV video and audio codecs after the watermarking so it can work inside the standard flash player.
I need the entire solution to work on Ubuntu server. If there is an installation process outside of regular apt-get sources I would want a build script.
