I am looking for a bebo / social networking site clone.
Basically all the features:
- photo albums (public and private)
- insertable video / html code snippets (from approved sites)
- flash based drawing tool (like bebo whiteboard) with the ability to add a background jpg image, and draw on top of it
- Top 20 friends
- public / private user profiles
- Blocking other users from viewing your own profiles
- Group membership where users can belong to a group or club
- Profile theming. Users can choose their own background jpg like youtube profiles, or can choose from one of our pre-designed templates
- Personal Blogs
- Simple text based messaging system / email system built into site.
- Simple forum system. More features, the better. Would prefer to be integrateable with phpbb but if thats too complicated, then its not needed. Just a simple forum will do.
- emoticons / emotions within text posts on profile comments, blogs, messaging system.
- Search system to find people by name / location / group.
- Music Section - lists sponsored artists and people can insert flash based videos into their own profiles.
- Widget repository - a place where you can find all sorts of widgets (games / videos / music / flash objects) and insert them into the widgets part of your profile.
- A back end administration system that allows us to modify almost every aspect of the site such as approving 3rd party widget / html code, creating themes, etc.
The system must use php and mysql. Can also use cgi and other common web tools. It will be running on windows server 2003 and if you need to have any applications running on the server to do some processing then that is also possible. We will provide the graphic design and hire people to design the widgets (such as run a competition to see who can design a good tetris game and we will have it as a flash widget.) We will also provide all images / buttons for theming etc.
Templates / profile themes for users will be designed also by us.
If you have already created a social networking site then that would be beneficial.
You must check back with us every day by email and we will provide you with the hosting space and access to the server.
You must also speak fluent english - although we will be modifying some of the text in the interface to the site to fine tune it such as button labels.
