Develop Mac OS X app that hides background applications (and desktop)

The task is to develop a simple and light-weight application for Mac OS X, which is to be called 'Concentration'. This application, when executed, will allow the user to select an open applications that the user would like to 'Concentrate' on (ie. spend some time working on, without any distractions). To enable this, after selecting the chosen application, the app should hide all other applications, hide the dock and turn the desktop to black. The user will then only see the application (and any windows that it has) and the the title bar - nothing else. Rather than making this a standalone application, a menu item or preference pane coud be considered. It would also be good to have a keyboard shutcut setup to allow the user to activate/disactiviate the state. Other options such as muting background sounds would also be interesting. An OpenGL-style cross dissolve effect when the background is faded would be fantastic. Lastly, the application needs an About Menu and a high-res icon. Please include in your bid that you understand the project and what parts (if not all) that you'd be able to create as part of your bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Must be fully compatible with Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.6. Intel Universal Binary desired.
