An sql? database that allows on-line users to search by venue, date, genre etc for live events in a particular city. We also require venues to have the ability to update own listings. We want an interactive calendar and added features such as: if no result, alternative suggestions are made.
## Deliverables
Each subscriber will need exclusive login details and will be able to enter: date submission made, date of event, artist, venue, genre. We also want an interactive calendar (similar to the one on [url removed, login to view]). We will have drop-down menues for all so that futile searches are not made. It will need to make a suggestion if a search yields no results.
We would also like the option to include: a running "ticker-tape" of today's events, hi-light one of today's events in a prominent place on home page, allow out of date listings to be automatically dropped from searches, the ability to "send a search result or page to a friend", e-mail alerts to be automated for member's criteria and a blog chatroom.
Further additions, perhaps in the future, would be to add music downloads, streaming audio from a live gig or radio station? and access to a city webcam. (don't know if these are things you have capacity to do.)
