77605 Live Radio Station Database

This is a simple database project for the research and upload of world radio stations that broadcast live over the internet into a database. (There are many available radio sites to research.) There are over 10,000 radio station with internet sites, but we don't need all of these. We are only interested in the ones that are live online. And there are radio station listing sites that include only live stations. Searchable fields will include the following: Call Letters/Station ID City State Country Music Format Link to Real Audio or Real Media Broadcast Alternative Link to Real Audio or Real Media Broadcast Type of Feed There should also be a country table where I can enter a little info about that particular country: Time zone Flag Language spoken Map link/Location Etc. Project will be template-based and also include search function, recommend-a-station, most hits and rate station/most highly rated. It would be great if there were a way to check for dead links. If links are dead for x number of days then admin is notified and link is disable - but not deleted. Not required...just an idea... This database will be a part of a portal site, so please pmb me with questions.
