Job Scheduler

***Please see the atttach MS Word document for full project details.*** We are planning on moving to a computer-based job scheduling and information system. This will allow our employees in the field to get updated job information via the Internet, and allow for increased communication throughout our company. To ease the transition, we plan to use a “virtual whiteboard?? with drag-and-drop capabilities using the Smart Technologies Model 680 touch screen whiteboard. This application can be broken down into 3 parts: --The database backend using MS SQL Server. --The whiteboard application delivered as a Windows executable. --The web-based version delivered as a ColdFusion MX7 site. ***We are willing to split this project up so that a SQL expert can design the database, web developers can design the web application, and Windows developers can develop the whiteboard application*** The application may need updates for new features on a quarterly or bi-annual basis. We look forward to developing a relationship with our chosen developer, and that developer will be given first chance at any new bidding with regards to this project. Because this project has the potential to get quite large, we will need to discuss and set project milestones. Our planned implementation for this project **is no later than** Jan, 1st, 2006 for a full, working version. We would like to implement sooner, if possible. We would also like the ability to test beta/preview releases prior to that so that we can give feedback. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Web Application: ColdFusion MX 7 Standard on Windows Server 2003 using IIS 6.0 and using MS SSQL Server 2000 Windows Executable: Windows XP SP2
