Help to get a CSS and PHP file working

We need to create a soundboard on our website. The idea is that the visitor can push buttons and then the sound plays instantly. I have a PHP file and CSS file that are open source. The files appear to work in the example site but I cannot get them working on our site. This should be an easy simple fix for an experienced coder.
