Laravel App -- 2

The aim of the application is to enter records in a database and guarantee to stakeholders data integrity. This is achieved through the participation of the same stakeholders having the separate App that continuously signs new records as they come available. In order to reduce unnecessary traffic, the client Apps will standby in listening mode. When a new record is entered, the server App broadcasts a “record available” message to registered clients, who in turn compete to get their signature in. It is our intention to keep this app as simple as possible but also as secure as possible. This project has been started already. It was created using Laravel and so far, we have the following functionality in place: 1. Login to the application (Note: although this has been implemented, the underlying pages must still be modified to work only with logged in users). 2. Database design is well advanced 3. Function to create the first record 4. Function to process a file with records and add them to the linked list. 5. Verification of a record 6. Listing of records What is left to do: 1. Modify the existing file upload to accept files and place them in the proper folder. 2. Modify the Import function to pick a file in the incoming folder and then move it to processed 3. An API call that will allow a separate php application, residing on another server, to be able to locate the next record to be signed, provide the record to the client application and get a signature. Then update the record with the signature. 4. An API call that provides records according to certain criteria (search).
