Modify a wordpress leaderboard

Job Description:
This is a membership site that offers both FREE and PAID membership. Currently, we allow paid members to earn on the leaderboard but this task requires that you modify that condition so that so that free members will also be able to earn on the leaderboard.
We use PMPRO plugin to create paid membership levels.
Current conditions.
For you to earn on leaderboard.
(1) You must have a membership level - Prime, Premium
(2) Then admin will have added you to a group
(3) What you will earn on the leaderboard is different based on membership level.
This is a buddypress leaderboard that we customise, and it is associated to a buddypress group. So you need to be in that Group in order to earn on the leaderbord.
Your task:
(1) Allow free members to earn on the leaderboard.
(2) Remove the condition that you must be in a Group in order to earn on the leaderboard, so we wouldn't have to start adding 100s of users into the group.
(3) Allow admin to also control how much free members can earn on the leaderboard. (This currently exists for the paid members, you just need to add for the free members)
