Telemedicine App

This telemedicine service will run on 3 platforms: iOS, Android, and PC. It is a way for patients & doctors to INSTANTLY communicate via the app: 1. Video Chat (pay-per-minute) 2. Voice Chat (pay-per-minute) 3. Text Chat (pay-per-sent message from the doctor) The service is PAY-PER-MINUTE, so the app will have to track the duration. An example, although not exact, can be seen from www.ring.md. The differences are: 1. The list of Doctors will appear similar to a Skype user Status: (i) Available Now, (ii) With a Patient, (iii) Away. Also, during registration, a doctor can choose either to have consultations booked up to one week in advance OR only on the current day. This, of course, can be changed at any time. If the doctor chooses "SAME DAY only" the patient can either have an instant consultation (Available Now), or enter the queue for that day only because the doctor is currently with a patient. If a doctor chooses "Consultations up to One Week in Advance", then a clickable calendar view will be available to the patient to select a 1 hour time slot. 2. We will also have three payment methods: (i) credit card, (ii) Top-Up card (card that people can add value), (iii) bank transfer via ATM. 3. There will be a MAIN sorting feature (buttons) to go to a list of: i. Doctors, or ii. Clinics Alternatively, there will be a search bar where patients can type a symptom (eg. fever) or health category (eg. pregnancy). 4. From this above sort, we will then have several "sort" buttons to sort the doctors by: i. Name, ii. Specialty, ii. Availability, iii. Ranking, iv. Location, v. Rates 5. There will two USER log-ins: (1) General users (2) Insurance policy holders.....if a person logs in here, only the doctors approved by the insurance company will be shown. 6. There will be two portals. These are where doctors or insurers log-in to their accounts. (1) Doctors' portal...to edit their profile, change their 'status', etc. (2) Insurers' portal 7. If a Specific Doctor, say Dr. Smith, is "With a Patient" or "Out-of-Office", there will be a check box that the user can select to get a WhatsApp notification when Dr. Smith is "Available". 8. There will be some free health information posted throughout the site. 9. The UI for the Video Chat will be like Skype, but on the left of the screen will be Patient Medical Information. On the right of the screen will be Doctor's Diagnosis Section, & Doctor's Notes Section. 10. The Video UI will also show the Duration of the Call, & also an "End Session" button. On the Doctor's Screen will be additional buttons to "Pause/Resume" the clock See Slide 11 and 12 on the attachment). As well, the Doctor's screen will have buttons to send a "Request for Lab Tests" to a nearby laboratory, and a button to "Send a prescription" to a nearby pharmacy. 11. At the end of every consultation, the Patient will be directed to a "Doctor's Evaluation" page. There will be 2 questions, each scored from 5 (best) to 1 (worst). Those scores will be applied to the doctor's average score from all patients. 12. There will be a language option as well. (ENGLISH and INDONESIAN). 13. The Voice Chat will have all the same features, but no visual. 14. The Text Chat will be like the chat at the bottom of a Skype interface. Charges will be per 160 characters. 15. Each doctor's rate will be set by the app. The rate formula is based on three factors: (i) BASE RATE. This number is fixed for ALL doctors (ii) Specialist or GP (iii) Number of years full-time practicing 16. There will be an optional message screen that patients can use to give a comment to the doctor. 17. Each patient will also have the option to "Add to Favourites" for any doctor. 18. Must be HIPAA compliant & follow bank security protocols/128encryption.
