I have never worked with an assistant and I have been considering it for a while. I am managing a small team of designers and developers and we build web/mobile apps. I sometimes have some tasks which I don't have time for but need attention to detail. Besides some minor standard daily tasks, I do have some other needs which are more technical like: I'm looking for: * A person who'd like to work with me full-time (or at least 150 hours a month). * At least 2 years of work experience in product/project management (please list products that you’ve worked on). * Must have owned / was responsible as a product manager for: a product or a part of a product or a feature. * Must have experience in writing user-stories / product requirements / PRD. * Must have experience in doing acceptance tests / QA by yourself. * Must have really good English (both writing and talking). * Recommended: experience in wireframes. * Must have experience in managing programmers, QA, and designers, during the development and QA cycles of a product (recommended: agile sprints). * Recommended: experience in using JIRA, Asana, or equivalent. * Recommended: experience with mockup/wireframe tools such as Balsamiq, Invisio, etc. * Recommended: other analytical and project management tools to develop PRDs and wireframes. * Optional: SQL knowledge. You'll be doing: - Check design and code deliverables. - Testing applications. - Help writing technical documentation. - Help to prepare user/app flows. - Help writing proposals. - Do researches (technical and non-technical topics). I can assist I have completed my B.Tech. (BE equivalent) from IIT Delhi, one of the most prestigious engineering college of India. I am doing my MBA from IIM Calcutta, one of the most prestigious B-school of India. I have worked a lot on Wireframing (Balsamiq), Product Requirement Documentations and Models. Along with that I have worked with Developers, designers, marketers and salespersons for getting features released and keeping the client in check. 1- What's your understanding of UX & UI design? - Very big difference between UX and UI. An attractive door handle on a Tesla car which looks great but is difficult to use has a great UI but poor UX. Everything related to a feature/use case being helpful to the user through design comes under this 2- What's your understanding of technical project management? -It can be Agile, Waterfall and takes into account developing features through sprints and Backlog groomings etc. 3- What's your understanding of software QA? -Testing a product or enhancement before it is getting released 4- How many hours you can work per day? Please let me know if you have another part-time/full-time job. - I can work 4-5 hours per day. 5- Do you have any work experience with managing projects or testing mobile apps/software? A person who knows everything about the project and who is responsible for delivery of the project 3- What's your understanding of software QA? - Perform testing a web / mobile application and ensure that the product is bug free. As a first step we prepare test case and execute the test case to ensure whether there is any bug or not. If bug is there it will be reported to developer and they fix them.. the round goes on 4- How many hours you can work per day?
