I’d like a patient, Punjabi-speaking tutor to run engaging, age-appropriate lessons for my five-year-old daughter with a clear emphasis on speaking practice. Each class should be fun and conversational, but still structured enough that we see steady progress in vocabulary, simple sentences and everyday phrases. After every session I need a PDF hand-out that mirrors exactly what was covered: the Punjabi script (if introduced), an English translation, and a phonetic pronunciation guide I can read aloud myself. These PDFs are crucial because they let us keep practising between classes. To keep everything on track I’d also like a brief written progress report once a week. A couple of paragraphs noting what she grasped easily, what needs reinforcement, and suggested activities for us to try at home will be perfect.
