For my mom's 60 birthday, I'm trying to create an original gift, that includes a small figurines of every member of our family (5 people), where each figurine is a combination between a 3D scan of one's head, and a body of an action figure of some sort (no need to actuallly design the action figure body, we can use download some free model from [login to view URL] etc.) The final result should look kind of a caricature with large (realistic) head and a small (cartoonish) body.
For the 3D scans of our heads - I've already done that part: for each family member, I initially took many photos 360 degrees around her/his head, then used a software called Autodest ReMake to create a 3D model from these photos. Surprisingly, I went quite good actually ??
What I need your help with, is fixing the 3D scans I've created (things like hair etc. that didn't went so well), attaching the heads the bodies, adding a base, and preparing the files for 3D printing.
My schedule is super-tight, as it's all need to be ready for April 22nd (including the 3D printing, which usually takes a few days or so).
