Data Curation (German)

DigitalMR is a high tech company that uses Artificial Intelligence for market research and customer insights. Companies hire us to find out what people are saying (online) about specific topics or brands they are interested in.
We are looking for students or recent graduates who are interested in working from the comfort of their own home, for a few hours each day, on a task called ‘curation’. The task of curation involves reading a short piece of text harvested from the web, determining whether it is relevant or irrelevant in regards to a particular topic or brand, and assigning a sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) to relevant posts.
The curation process enables us to provide our clients with valuable insights into general trends among consumers, what they actually say they want or don’t want, need or don’t need, like or dislike; thus better strategic decisions can be made.
The applicant must be organised and committed to meet deadlines, and most importantly fluent (native speaker or equivalent proficiency) in German.
The first step would be to sign a NDA, which will be followed by curation instructions and a short test to ensure you have understood the process and are able to carry out the work. There may be a need for a second short test. The instructions and test are in English, however the actual work you will receive if you qualify as a curator will be in one of the aforementioned languages.
