Looking for SAS Programmer (Long Term)

Job Overview Collaborate with team members, business units, and user groups & identify impacts of changes or enhancements, estimate level of efforts, and provide inputs to migration project schedules. Support migration and remediation of JReview objects. Based on specification understand user’s requirement and design creative prototypes. To expedite routine activities and usage by the Oncology Data Management and other areas of Clinical for data review need to Design and develop generic tools and other utilities. Based on departmental standards need to develop and maintain the programs including testing with proper documentation. All programming activities must be performed according to standard operating procedures and good programming practices. Develop programs using SAS to create complex listings/reports to support Data Management functions to review & clean data for Oncology trials. Applications to be developed to provide patient profiles & ad-hoc reports for data review to support the clinical teams. Collaborate with data base programmers with the different types of external data e.g., laboratory data, PK, ECG,Tumor, etc Accountable for migration and remediation of SAS based tools, programs, and macros from windows to Linux based SAS Grid operating system environment to support clinical data management for Oncology clinical trials. Qualifications: Bachelor in Science or Technology degree with 7 years SAS programming experience and 3-5 years of relevant industry experience. Strong SAS programming skills required in Windows & UNIX environment with proficiency in SAS/Base, SAS Macros, SAS/Graph, SAS/SQL. Knowledge of working in SAS Grid environment with experience in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS Studio is an advantage. Experience in writing SAS tools and developing generic SAS programs for clinical studies. Knowledge in developing SDTM specifications, programs, and validation are desirable. Knowledge of program development in JReview is an advantage. Good understanding of relational databases such as ORACLE, Knowledge of the EDC system, InForm, and underlying data structure is desirable. Good understanding of system development life cycles, GCP, and related regulatory guidelines. . Work Hours: Around 4 hrs a day (Night Shifts).
