I reviewed the supplied Simio guide and understand the required paper-factory waste-management DES model. I can build the Simio .spfx model covering production flow, stochastic processing times, downtime, waste generation, collection, segregation, recycling/landfill, recycling loop, editable controls, KPIs, scenarios, and Monte Carlo replications. I’ll follow the provided factory data and assumptions without artificially forcing validation results. The model will include the required 30 configurable replications per scenario, KPI mean/SD/95% CI, validation comparison, screenshots, technical guide, and Excel/CSV experiment results where applicable. Hi, a Simio model of a waste collection and processing system. The model itself is quick. The arrival and service time distributions are what decide whether the output means anything. How we would build it: entities for the waste arriving, servers for tipping, sorting and processing, queues sized off your real throughput. Times go in as distributions, not fixed numbers. Then replications with a warm up period so the startup doesn't skew it. Reports cover utilisation, queue length and truck idle time. Do you have arrival data or should we fit distributions? I understand that this is a Simio discrete-event simulation for the paper factory, starting from pulping and paper production and then adding waste generation, collection, segregation, recycling and landfill. I also understand that the recycling material needs to come back to pulping without creating any infinite loop. I can build the model according to the provided structure and keep the important values editable, such as recycling rate, truck capacity and collection policy. I’ll also set up the required scenarios and KPIs like landfill waste, total waste, recycling rate, production throughput and machine utilization. For the stochastic part, I’ll use the processing-time ranges given in the guide and keep the assumptions clearly separated from the factory data.
