Project Goal: Synchronizing master Excel database with a new Excel database + make csv output file of only the modified data.
Project description.
Master Excel database has about 35000 products. Each product showing many columns of product details. One small program (executable) need to be written that does the following:
1. Get the new files from my supplier from a FTP location (about 13 csv files from a list of many files)
2. Merge those 13 csv files together into 1 csv file and save as .xlsx file (input-file).
3. Open the master excel database on the local computer. This master database will now automatic update the fields (this master database has already the needed links to update the necessary fields, so this update process is not part of the job)
4. The fields that are updated are shown in about 5 columns.
5. Save the master database with the updated information
6. Select only the updated values from those 5 columns.
7. Write those updated fields together with the product keys in a newly created .csv file.
8. Store this output file on a fixed location.
9. Optional: create a cron-job for import in my Prestashop 1.7.3.x web shop.
Above need to be done every 2 or 3 hours.
