We need a ruby and scala developer with devops knowledge to reverse engineer our current production environment to become a local sandboxed developer environment We have a series of legacy ruby and scala jvm applications (5 years old) running on production box on AWS EC2 cloud - it needs to be migrated to a local environment, so we can develop on it locally. OS: Linux Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Application: Rails 2.3.18 Ruby Version: ruby 1.8.7 MySql Version: 5.5 Technologies involved: Ruby on Rails Scala MySql NHibernate Nginx Jetty God MemCached Vagrant We'll provide ec2 access to a copy of the production environment, the source code to the applications and relevant documention. End result - calling vagrant up should spin up a local environment ready for development.
