Hi, I have experience in different areas of IT, working as a developer and change to operations. I have experience with different platforms of CI/CD, as Azure DevOps (and the old version TFS), TeamCity, Jenkins, UrbanCode, Gitlab, Jazz, and Jira. CI.: Continuous Integration, it's a pipeline to integrate code on a specific branch, who no one has access, just the workflow. This workflow can run automated tests and run audit source code and deploy this artifact on a server or docker image. This approach's a good way to prevent breaking your code, bug, and problem on the future. My experience with Cloud: I used Azure Cloud for 2 projects only, but I believe it's almost the same. Because you need to think first which strategy is better to deploy, how often we need to deliver, what impact you can have when you deploy the code and others. I have experience in AWS just in the development environment. If you accept my request, it will be my first time on a freelancer's website as a freelancer. Hello, I am a DevOps engineer with about 10 years of experience in the industry. I automate stuff using Ansible, Jenkins and work with clouds in my day job. I haven't setup any pipelines in a GCP before, but I have experience in Azure pipelines and I believe that the general process for GCP is similar. The project I setup for Azure pipelines was a monolith and was too big for the available cloud agents to handle. Not enough disk space and RAM to even complete. So I needed to setup a Virtual Machine Scale Set in Azure and hook it up as an agent pool in Azure pipelines. That involved creating a VM image that was ready for running the pipeline without any additional steps. CI stands for Continuous Integration. When done properly, it helps to speed up the process of creating and delivering software by automating steps like building, testing and deploying the code. One of the ideas of CI is that a code build is automatically started with each code push to main repo. This makes testing more frequent and of smaller changes, which helps with debugging. It can help with improving quality as well when the automatic testing is maintained properly as the code changes. Especially useful in larger teams, as the cumulative knowledge about the project is shared among the people and a well-designed CI can prevent issues that can happen because of this.
