I have a market research based task analyzing the results from an online survey with over 600 responses. There are less than 30 questions on the survey and I am interested in both a descriptive and relational analysis of the results.
The survey includes question logic on a number of questions which will have to be accounted for in the analysis. The logic determines which subsequent questions are shown to the user, so the pathway for each participant will have to be part of the descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis of the data, on a per question basis, with simple charts is the starting point.
The relational analysis, which controls for demographic and behavioral factors will require different analytical insights and is the main part of the task. Comparing responses by City, Age, Revenue, Knowledge, Years in Business, and Business category are some of the comparisons I’d want to see in the analysis.
Bonus:
I am also interested in connecting the survey response data (which includes zip codes) to an external, zip code level data source via API or data table download. This data source ([login to view URL] and [login to view URL] ) both have data in tables, and as an API, so it can be filtered and accessed easily.
