It is the right call for text-heavy images: OCR introduces its own class of errors, and on a job judged by random spot checks against the originals, an OCR artefact is worse than a slower page. How I would do it: 1. Type each image verbatim, line breaks and punctuation included, in the font and point size you specify. I set that up at the start rather than reformatting at the end, so the document never has to be restyled. 2. One Word document per image, named exactly as the source file. 3. Before sending, re-read each document against its image rather than trusting the typing. The errors that survive a first pass are the ones the eye slides over: a doubled word at a line break, a missing closing bracket, 1 for l, 0 for O. That is specifically what the second pass is looking for. Two things worth telling me: roughly how many images, and whether they are clean screenshots or photographs of pages. Photographs with curvature or uneven lighting read much slower and I would rather price that honestly now than discover it halfway through. If any passage is genuinely illegible I will flag the spot and ask rather than guess at the words.
