OpenVPN traffic over TCP port 443 uses SSL, but the traffic/"connection negotiation" doesn't look like normal HTTPS traffic over TLS and it can be detected and blocked easily by any advanced DPI.
Hence, SSL tunneling or obfsproxy or SSH tunnel is mandatory for the connection to be established over TCP port 443
I want an OpenVPN server over TCP port 443. However, This OpenVPN server has to support having the traffic/"connection establishment" to be over SSL TUNNEL or obfsproxy or SSH tunnel
For more details, please check this link [login to view URL]
All the below is required;
- configure the server to optimize the speed, since using TCP 443 slows down the speed and the server needs to be tweaked to optimize this.
- I should have the ability to create a client file with and without password
- Steps on how to use a client file with PASSWORD on Ubuntu OpenVPN client machine and make OpenVPN running in the background without the need to launch any command to stop/start/restart the machine in case of a reboot. Also the commands to be used to stop/start/restart
- Provide the configuration details needded to tweak the automatically generated client file to match the tweaks on the server for speed optimization and for SSL TUNELLING or obfsproxy or SSH tunnel
- Extensive details on how to troubleshoot VPN connection issues on the server. Not just a simple command that shows OpenVPN status of the server
- Openvpn service must run in the background on the server, even after a reboot. Provide the commands needed to start/stop/restart openvpn service on the server
- VPN connection can be established from Ubuntu client and from windows client.
Please note: Ubuntu client is acting as a router, it's configured to have access only to the VPN server, so if VPN service is down, there will be no internet connection. Hence, VPN server has to provide default gateway configuration to this Ubuntu client, so it can have access to the internet only through this VPN tunnel. Keep in mind that VPN client on Ubuntu MUST maintain its functionality as a router
- VPN connection MUST BE stable, not just the connection gets established and then gets disconnected and so on.
- Documenting every installation step in details. Because I'll test it and if I fail to create another server with this documentation, the project won't be considered completed.
Acceptance criteria:
For the project to be considered completed, all of the above has to be met. Project time is 4 days maximum. Work time between 6AM-3PM EST
Please note:
If you have minimal or medium experience of any of the above mentioned, especially SSL TUNNELING or obfsproxy or SSH tunnel to hide OpenVPN SSL protocol, please don't waste my time and yours.
You must have a proven strong hands on experience of doing so. I do have the script that can install openVPN using TCP port 443 but it doesn't work and it needs the tweaks I aforementioned.
Again, if all what you have is just an installation script and some YouTube videos experience, DON'T CONTACT ME
Finally, if you truly have the experience and have done this before, this shouldn't take more than 1 hour work.
hi how are you. i can configure openvpn inside ssl tunnel or obfs proxy, will provide full documentation. already done same thing for uae. thanks good luck
Dear I have vast experience in System Network and security fields please let me know if you require my services. May we build a better relationship in this project.
Hello
I've read your requirements and I can suggest another way to accomplish what you exactly want but with a much better way , For more details please contact me over PM to discuss things and start working on the project if you agreed on the solution
Thanks
