Create an editor script to press a button on a Gameobject inspector and it will iterate through all the children and sub children game objects and store all their gameobjects and component data to json. The data will be used to reconstruct the gameobject with all the children on game start. I will only respond to messages that contain "Red Dog" at the top, so please type red dog when responding to me.
