Need experienced person for existing API (JSON) data extraction project. Your solution you develop for me needs to be a stand-alone executable for windows 7.
I will supply an Excel spreadsheet with about 200 URLs of each page I want data from.
You build scraper, get 2 items of data from each page (get amount of “Funding Received” and Status if it’s there, such as Acquired) and place that data in the excel spreadsheet with the coordinating url.
See enclosed example.
The target site will require an API key, which I will provide you, but have a field where this can be entered into the scraper
If you are comfortable with web scraping, extracting, data mining, curl, python, perl, api, json, and more, then this should be a good project for you. This should take less than an hour or two to complete. I'll give a 10 rating when successfully completed.
