[login to view URL] . This is one of my site that uses the same code. The code is old and zend 2 based and full of old standards, commented out sections and elements that are just ignored.
So, to move forward i would like a complete rewrite in a framework that is web first but will minimise the work needed for mobile apps. Gpt tells me react is a good option but I'm very open on this issue.
There are admin tools, for now, those can be ignored. Short listed bidders will be given details.
By creating a free account you will be able to see most of the features the site has. it’s easier than trying to interpret my text descriptions but here are some key things. This domain is used as my test environment.
1) Hosting will be moved to aws. currently it’s on a vps.
2) Each site has a single file that allows for the customisation of some key factors that each individual site will need.
3) The dbase is mariadb - if it’s of real value I’m open to moving to postgre for the next item...
4) Geospatial queries are used for calculating distance to other members.
5) Stripe and paypal integration
6) Member pictures... they are currently stored in an offsite directory structure that allows for multiple sites being able to access them. I would like to change this to aws s3, lamda to resize and rekognition to moderate.
7) I'd like to add google, fb and ios as fundamental registration and login options along with the existing conventional registration.
8) The dbase can be improved, this will be addressed before new coding starts.
9) I would like a work process that looks at existing functions and uses plugs as much as possible and custom code to otherwise get the job done, this rather than looking at existing code...which as stated, is a bit of a mess and should only be referred to as a last resort.
10) The "About me" section of the member profile allows for free text input, i would like to change this to allow members to select from a predefined collection of self-descriptors...tinder style.
11) For language management, all texts are stored in a text file with label tokens in the code. I expect there will be a good plugin for this.
There are several more changes but they are nominal ones and generally make the site simpler.
This is not a graphics sensitive project so priority will be given to demonstration of functional capabilities. I will supply custom graphics if needed. There is no point pointing me to your portfolio in the hope that I’m going to spend hours reviewing each of your collective works to see if you have the right skills.
So please just include in your bids which elements you have experience with, and which you would be willing to dig into to get the job done. I do not expect that many of your have experience with everything needed.
