Project Description:
The aim of this project is to develop a custom upselling plugin that will integrate into WooCommerce product pages. This plugin create a widget and it will be placed below the "Add to Cart" button and will display different pricing tiers and rewards based on the amount needed to reach the reward.
Widget Features:
The upselling widget will have the following features:
Backend Configuration: Administrators will be able to configure different rewards, each with its SVG image, a customized message, and the minimum purchase price required to obtain the reward. This will be managed from the WordPress admin panel.
Responsive Design: The widget will be fully responsive to ensure an optimal user experience on both mobile and desktop devices.
Insertion via Shortcode: The widget will be integrated into product pages using a shortcode, allowing for easy placement and customization on various products.
Widget Operation:
The upselling widget will operate as follows:
When a customer visits a product page, the widget will be displayed below the "Add to Cart" button.
The widget will show the available rewards, each with its SVG image, message, and the amount missing in the customer's cart to reach the reward.
If the customer clicks on one of the rewards, they will be automatically redirected to the corresponding product page.
Technologies Used:
The widget development will use technologies compatible with WordPress and WooCommerce. PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are preferred to ensure seamless integration with the existing platform.
