WordPress Salient Theme help (home page production)

Job Description:
I need help with the Salient WordPress theme.

I am buried on other projects this week but also need to knock out what I think is a fairly simple project using the Salient theme by or before Friday.
I am looking for something with a structure similar to [login to view URL] which also uses the Salient theme.
In speaking with some other developers, they believe that page is constructed with using:
* nectar slider as the landing image
* a full width block with simple copy in the middle
&
* masonry grid element showcasing their portfolio
I can handle the full width block with copy and footer info below that.
I would provide WordPress admin access, a single large photo for the nectar slider and two sets of two photos to start the portfolio masonry grid. I'm hoping that it will be pretty intuitive to change the photo on the slider and add other sets of photos to the portfolio and home page masonry grid. I might need a little bit of written instructions on how to do that but will try it first.
I already have WordPress and the Salient theme (properly licensed) installed and ready to go.
I basically just need help getting it off the ground until I can get unburied on my other projects.
The ability to get started right away is a major plus. Thank you.
