This was the first time that I worked with a service to create a logo. The experience has been interesting. Many of the designers expressed little creativity and simply copied, with little modification, the designs of those who responded early in the contest. And although I tried to provide direction on the Public page and to individual designers on their submissions (over 548), only a very few even attempted to follow my guidance about what I was trying to achieve and using the elements that I clearly stated (and provided examples of) I that wanted to be included. So I lowered my expectations to just having an original, clean and unique design that was eye-catching and reflected what my company does. I also was looking for an icon that could eventually stand alone and be recognized as representing my company. ShyamT.'s designs stood out from all of the 548 entries with a well-considered original and creative touch. She was quick to respond to my questions and changes I asked her to make, often within a few minutes. She was always polite and professional, especially when we got down to the last few tweaks on the design. I reviewed all 548 design entries over the 2-weeks my contest ran (100% Reviewed). So Shyam T.'s design(s) (she submitted 24 attempts, all creative) was not just chosen at random. She really worked to win this prize. I hope to work with her on future projects. Also, I will be recommending Freelancer to my friends and business associates. Thank you!
