Since 2004, I have operated as a freelance commercial consultant as co-owner of M & B Management and Design and owner of Siobhan Morris Consulting, delivering assignments for high profile organisations such as Brown & Carroll (London) Ltd, Lendlease, Sherlock Interiors Ltd.
Estimating - Carrying out entire bid submissions encompassing attending pre and mid-tender meetings; quantifying and preparing bills of quantities; managing supplier and sub-contractor enquiries; estimating and bid assembly; submission and post-tender negotiation; contract review.
Procurement – strategic procurement planning, developing tender execution plans and contractor lists, assembling enquiry packs, managing enquiry packs and invitations to tender, organising and chairing mid and post tender interviews, bid adjudication and writing tender recommendation reports, assembling
contract documentation, contract negotiation, contract execution.
Commercial Management – Client liaison, site team liaison, supervision of accounts, managing change, negotiation with clients and client’s team (QS, architect etc). Preparation of Extension of Time applications and Loss & Expense claims.
