The bulk of data is being processed and transferred through the internet. Meanwhile, with the increase in the usage of the internet, data security issues are also on the rise such as malicious activities, hacking, unauthorized access to data and anomalies in the network. In this research a model is proposed, which is a combination of two algorithms. One is used to remove unnecessary features from the dataset. The second algorithm is used to classify the attack types from the dataset.
