Before/After comparison of a retouch done for practice. Subject is actress Evangeline Lilly at a press conference. My primary goals in attempting to retouch this image were to correct skin tone and reduce fine lines without erasing Lilly's natural freckles; removing the distracting door handle in the background; and making her eyes appear larger and brighter, and therefore more attentive.
